Suicide Attempt Averted: Two Citizens Tried to Jump from Victory Bridge

On May 7, at 21:23, the National Crisis Management Center received a report that two citizens were attempting to commit suicide by jumping from Yerevan's Victory Bridge.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' fire and rescue department in Yerevan, the Special Rescue Operations Center, a psychological support instructor, and an operational group from the crisis management center responded to the scene.

Through the combined efforts of the rescuers, the psychological support instructor, and the head of the citizen reception and application review department of the RA Government, the suicide attempts of Samvel M. (born in 1980) and Vagharshak A. (born in 1989) were averted.

Samvel M. was taken to the Central Police Department, while Vagharshak A. left the scene.
