Marukyan Faces Pressure from Former Authorities, Says Alen Simonyan
We were discussing the incidents that occurred; it is natural that what happened is unacceptable. This was stated today, on May 8, during a conversation with journalists in the National Assembly by the Vice Speaker Alen Simonyan, in connection with the brawl that took place in the Assembly.
“That person is unable to express his political stance in light of recent developments. I believe he is under significant pressure from the remnants of the former authorities. I think that he does not vote on the property confiscation bill, votes in favor of all budgets brought by Serzh Sargsyan, and does not vote for our budgets. You know who I am talking about, but I don't want to enter into that discourse,” he noted.
