47-Year-Old Woman Stabs Man During Argument in Central Yerevan

On May 7, at 03:10, the police department of Central Yerevan received a report from the hospital that a 44-year-old man had been admitted with a "stab wound to the left side of the chest, polytrauma" diagnosis from T’prgrichneri Street.

A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Law enforcement officials of the Central Police Department conducted measures which clarified that the victim had argued with a 49-year-old man and a 47-year-old woman. During the argument, the woman had stabbed the man with a knife, inflicting injury.

Thanks to operational-search measures, both the man and the woman were apprehended at the intersection of Pushkin and Nalbandyan Streets at 18:10 on the same day and admitted their guilt. The knife has been seized, and a forensic examination has been ordered.
