Edmon Marukyan: 'One Can Go Crazy, I Receive Hundreds of Such Letters Daily'

The leader of the LHK party, Edmon Marukyan, has called on the government to provide straightforward financial support without seeking a needle in a haystack. He shared this on his Facebook page while addressing numerous letters he has received.

“I receive several hundred letters like this every day. I can just imagine how many people are reaching out by writing, calling, and asking for help. While I do my best to assist, it can drive one to madness; this situation is worsening,” Marukyan said.

“Dear government, please provide financial assistance without looking for excuses. Enough is enough; you are leaving people hungry. Be humane!”

“Hello, excuse me for bothering you, but for the sake of my children, I want to ask you for something. I am in very bad condition and I am pleading for help so my children do not remain hungry. Even with 5000 drams, please consider you are helping your own children. The money you send can keep four children from going hungry for a few days; I am begging you, do not ignore this. Consider me your own for the sake of my children, please help with a little sum. If this were not about my children, I would never ask,” he wrote.
