VIDEO: Police Discover Illegal Weapons and Ammunition in 46-Year-Old Resident's Home in Urtsalanj Village

Within the framework of a criminal case, officers from the Ararat division of the police, in cooperation with regional administration and the Vedi investigative division, received operational information that one of the residents of Urtsalanj village was storing illegal weapons and ammunition. This was reported by the Armenian police.

On April 29, following a court decision, law enforcement officials searched the home of the 46-year-old man, discovering factory-numbered "IZh" and "TOZ" type illegal rifles designed to fire 12 mm caliber cartridges. The discovered weapons have been confiscated. A forensic examination has been appointed. The preliminary investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
