Ukrainian President Advises to Think About Survival
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has advised Ukrainians to focus on comfort and survival in the context of combating the coronavirus. This was reported by Izvestia.
According to him, the country has bread, butter, milk, and cereals, which means there are all chances to overcome the pandemic. “We will defeat the coronavirus; in a month and a half, we will overcome it if we are sincere. I am confident of that,” Zelensky said during an appearance on the "Ukraine" television channel on April 17.
He also added that Ukrainian authorities plan to ease quarantine conditions on April 24. The president believes that people should return to work. However, the lifting of restrictions will only be possible if the situation does not worsen further.
It is noteworthy that according to the latest data, 4.6 thousand people have been infected in the country, with 125 deaths.
