Deputy Director of Akhuryan Medical Center Tested, No Coronavirus Detected
The deputy director of Akhuryan Medical Center has been tested, and no coronavirus has been found in him. This was reported to NEWS.am by the director of Akhuryan Medical Center, Zaven Manukyan, who noted that the deputy director had very brief contact with parents infected with the virus.
“The deputy director’s parents live in Ashtarak, and he does not reside with them. He only briefly entered to hand over his father's won 'Green Card' while wearing gloves and a mask. However, after a 14-day isolation period, he was tested and the result was negative,” he said, also mentioning that there are currently no cases of coronavirus infection in Akhuryan.
He added that only one person from the medical center is currently in isolation—the radiology technician. “He performed an X-ray on a citizen who was found to have coronavirus a week later. Now we are waiting until he will be tested as well,” he noted.
