Covid-19: 565 People Die in Spain in One Day

The Spanish Ministry of Health reports that 565 people have died from coronavirus in the last day, following 585 deaths recorded the previous day. Thus, the total number of fatalities due to Covid-19 in the country has reached 20,043. Since the onset of the pandemic, 191,726 individuals have been infected.

The number of tests conducted across the country has also increased. It is noted that among those who died from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours is one of Spain's prominent doctors, Jesús Vázquez, who headed the neurosurgery department at Madrid's Puerta del Hierro Hospital.
