Fire Breaks Out in Erebuni Car Market, Several Cars Reduced to Ashes
On April 11, an emergency incident occurred in Yerevan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call at its 911 operational management center reporting that cars were burning in the Erebuni car market area.
According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, firefighters, with the help of citizens, extinguished the fire in the vehicles. It has been established that a Kia Optima with license plate 9345 AV, a Honda Step Wagon with license plate 3892CG, a Mercedes without a license plate, and a Toyota Camry without a license plate were completely burned and rendered inoperable.
Authorities must still determine the cause of the fire, as the source remains unknown.
