COVID-19 Confirmed in Husband and Son of 59-Year-Old Woman Who Died in Kotayk Region
In the Alapars community of the Kotayk region, COVID-19 has been confirmed in the husband and son of a 59-year-old woman who passed away on March 27. This was reported to NEWS.am by the head of the Alapars community, Artak Saribekyan.
“After the woman’s death, her husband and son were isolated. I believe they were tested the day after her death and the results came back positive. They have been transferred to the ‘Nork’ infectious diseases hospital,” said the community head.
Saribekyan mentioned that examination results revealed the woman died from a heart attack. He also noted that there was another resident in the community who had been infected with COVID-19, but that person has since recovered, and their contacts have been identified. Currently, strict control is in place in the village. Very few people are leaving their homes, and only in cases of urgent necessity.
