President Pays Tribute to Victims of the April War

The President of the Republic of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, visited the "Erebuni" military pantheon. This was reported by the Public Relations Department of the President's Office.

The President was accompanied by former conscripts of the Armenian army, Gor Darmanyan and Liparit Melkonyan, who are employees of the President's Office, as well as Arkadi Andreasyan, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. During their service in the armed forces, they distinguished themselves through their high combat readiness and dedication, having been injured during combat operations. They have been employed as part of the "Defender of the Homeland" initiative, which aims to assist servicemen who have been disabled during military service by providing them with job opportunities.

President Sarkissian and the accompanying defenders laid flowers at the graves of the heroes who sacrificed their lives during the April 2016 military operations and paid tribute to their memory.
