Employees of Closed Cultural Centers Under Ministry's Supervision to Be Compensated
Employees of cultural centers that were closed due to the state of emergency will be compensated. According to a report by Armenpress, on March 20, during a press conference, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Araik Harutyunyan stated this in response to a journalist's question about whether staff of cultural centers would receive payment.
“The issue is resolved concerning cultural institutions affiliated with the ministry,” the minister said.
As for cultural centers under the jurisdiction of the Yerevan City Hall, the minister mentioned that he has not yet discussed this matter with the mayor and vice-mayor but assumes that it is also resolved.
