Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands Appeals to Citizens with Short-Term Visas
The Armenian Embassy in the Netherlands has issued a statement urging attention from Armenian citizens currently in the Netherlands on short-term visas.
“Dear compatriots, according to the Netherlands’ migration services, foreign citizens with short-term visas who have been unable to return to their countries due to flight cancellations before the expiration of their visas can present proof of the cancellation at the border after flight resumption, and no sanctions for visa expiration will be imposed on them,” the statement reads.
It is also noted that due to the preventive measures implemented by the government, the Netherlands’ migration services will remain closed until April 6 of this year. However, the hotline for urgent issues will continue to operate. There is also an option to set up appointments for visa extensions.
We advise Armenian citizens whose travel health insurance expiration coincides with the end of their visas to MANDATORILY EXTEND their insurance coverage.
You can contact the Netherlands’ migration services at the following phone number: +31 880 430 430,” the statement concludes.
