Postal Offices Will Operate According to the Situation, Currently Functioning Fully: Arshakyan
The post is a key link for pensions and social payments and is the main partner of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs. This was stated by Minister of High-Tech Industry Hakob Arshakyan during a press conference today, adding that from this perspective, we will not have any interruptions or disruptions.
Arshakyan assured that postal offices will operate according to the situation, and they are currently functioning at full capacity. “However, certain measures have been implemented to ensure safety and prevent the spread of the virus. We have asked for no crowds to gather at the post office. To avoid them, some inconveniences may arise: the number of people in the office will be limited, and disinfection will be carried out throughout the day,” said Arshakyan.
The minister reported that in places where it is possible to deliver pensions and social payments to citizens, this will be carried out to the maximum extent. “A group has also been created in the Ministry of Health for data collection and processing. This group is actively participating and will continue to participate in the collection, processing, and later forecasting and assessment of data related to the pandemic,” noted Arshakyan, adding that if certain results emerge in the coming days, they will announce them.
