Entry of Citizens from 16 Countries to Armenia is Prohibited
Due to the epidemiological tension caused by the spread of the coronavirus in a number of countries, it has been decided today to prohibit the entry of citizens from 16 countries into the Republic of Armenia, as reported by the Armenian Unified Information Center.
Moreover, Armenian citizens returning from those countries must undergo a 14-day quarantine regime.
The list of countries is as follows:
- People's Republic of China
- Islamic Republic of Iran
- South Korea
- Japan
- Italy
- Spain
- France
- Germany
- Switzerland
- Denmark
- Austria
- Belgium
- Norway
- Sweden
- Netherlands
- United Kingdom
The entry of drivers of transport vehicles carrying cargo from those countries and one substitute driver will not be restricted. Additionally, all Armenian citizens returning from foreign destinations must self-isolate for a period of 14 days. During self-isolation, if any symptoms of the disease appear, it is imperative to contact the hotline number 060 838300 immediately.
