Anticoronavirus Measures to Be Implemented in the National Assembly
Due to the spread of the new coronavirus, anticoronavirus measures will be implemented in the National Assembly. This was announced by Tigran Galstyan, the head of the staff of the National Assembly of Armenia, on his Facebook page.
“The staff of the National Assembly has planned and will implement the following anticoronavirus measures as quickly as possible:
- Responsible attitude towards the arising problems.
- Disinfection of all office buildings and checkpoints.
- Daily temperature checks for all employees three times a day.
- Permission for employees who traveled abroad in recent months to work remotely from home.
- Acquisition and free distribution of masks to employees and members of parliament.
- Placement of hand sanitizers in all possible locations.
- Changes in conditions for using the cafeteria.
- Posting informational materials on pandemic protection in all offices.
- Continuous ventilation of rooms.

Currently, there are eight confirmed cases of coronavirus in Armenia.
