Used Banknotes to be Replaced with New Ones for Coronavirus Prevention

The Central Bank of Armenia informs that old, used banknotes in circulation will gradually be replaced with new, unused banknotes. In a statement released by the Central Bank of Armenia, it is noted: "Dear citizens, for the purpose of preventing the coronavirus, the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia will gradually replace the old (used) banknotes in circulation with new (unused) banknotes. At the same time, we urge you to use cashless payment methods and online banking services as much as possible."
