U.S. Embassy in Ukraine: Consular Reception Limited, Standby for Registration
Starting March 12, the consular reception at the Embassy of Armenia in Ukraine (Kyiv) and the Armenian Consulate General in Odesa will operate under limited conditions as a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus. This was announced on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Armenia in Ukraine.
"We urge visitors to the consular institutions to only approach these offices in cases of extreme necessity and only with prior registration. For now, this regime will be in effect until April 3," the statement added.
At the same time, the embassy encourages Armenian citizens in Ukraine, if necessary, to ensure connectivity by contacting the embassy, sending their data (name, surname, residence location (address, phone number, email address) to the electronic addresses of the Armenian Embassy in Ukraine or the Armenian Consulate General in Odesa, or to the official Facebook accounts.
The embassy and consulate general have round-the-clock hotline numbers available.
The embassy also informs that providing such information does not create any obligation.
As of March 11, there is one confirmed case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Ukraine.
