Anna Hakobyan Meets with Brazil's First Lady
Anna Hakobyan, the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia and the chairwoman of the boards of the "My Step" and "City of Smile" charitable foundations, was hosted at the Presidential Palace (Palácio da Alvorada) in Brazil's capital on March 6. She met with the country's First Lady, Michelle de Paula Firmo Reinaldo Bolsonaro.
The two first ladies toured the Presidential Palace, where Mrs. Bolsonaro shared the history of the palace's construction and presented the collection of paintings and sculptures within. Following the tour, over a lunch table, Hakobyan and Bolsonaro discussed the roles and missions of the leaders' wives and emphasized the importance of implementing joint programs.
At the end of the meeting, Anna Hakobyan invited Michelle de Paula Firmo Reinaldo Bolsonaro to visit Armenia. The First Lady of Brazil graciously accepted the invitation, with the visit tentatively scheduled for October of this year.
