China to Donate 1000 Free Coronavirus Test Kits to Armenia
The Minister of Health, Arsen Torosyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of China, Tian Erlong, to discuss the coronavirus situation both globally and in Armenia and China.
The ambassador announced that the Chinese government will soon donate 1000 free coronavirus test kits to Armenia. Additionally, the Chinese embassy has provided financial resources to Armenia for acquiring additional medical supplies.
Regarding the situation in China related to the coronavirus, the ambassador assured that the situation is improving. Arsen Torosyan noted that with the warming of the weather, viral infections are showing a decreasing trend in the country, and currently, there is only one confirmed case, with no other individuals affected.
The minister also addressed the citizens in quarantine, stating that they are feeling well, and no symptoms have been detected among them. After the quarantine period of eight days, they will be allowed to return home.
Both parties expressed their willingness to continue close cooperation. At the end of the meeting, Arsen Torosyan thanked the ambassador for the support.
