Efforts Underway for Smart Street Development, Says Police Chief

Currently, efforts are underway to develop a smart street. This was stated today by the head of the Armenian Road Police, Egor Karapetyan, during parliamentary hearings on the theme of "Current Issues of Road Traffic and Their Solutions."

“We are currently working on developing a smart street. This involves Acharyan Street, from near the Botanical Garden to the Acharyan-Babajanyan junction. This is our future, and it must be implemented. There is no alternative,” he said.

Karapetyan also noted that we are making progress outside Yerevan, at the airport junction, in the direction of implementing smart traffic lights.
