No Statute of Limitations for Overthrowing the Constitutional Order, Gevorg Petrosyan

Today, I will introduce my draft amendment to the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, which stipulates that there will be no statute of limitations for those who attempt to overthrow the constitutional order. This was announced by Gevorg Petrosyan, a member of the Prosperous Armenia faction, on his Facebook page.

More simply put, the purpose of this draft is to ensure that individuals who have overthrown (or attempted to overthrow) the constitutional order can be held criminally liable, regardless of when or how many years ago the crime was committed. We await the government's response to this initiative.
