Number of People Hospitalized from Armenia's Border Checkpoints Revealed
The Health and Labor Inspectorate of Armenia has reported on its Facebook page that the head of the Inspectorate, Hakob Avagyan, reminded that the agency has been operating under an intensified regime since January 24. He added that from January 24 until now, based on the results of work carried out at the border, 1,271 symptom-based cards have been filled out, of which 36 individuals were immediately hospitalized from border checkpoints, mostly from Zvartnots Airport. The second-place checkpoint is Bagratashen, while one citizen with a fever was detected at the Meghri checkpoint, and fortunately, by morning, the symptoms had changed.
Avagyan discussed the powers of the Inspectorate and the extensive inspection program that the agency implemented in 2020 during the “Perspective” program on Shant TV.
