First Case of Coronavirus Registered in Romania
On Tuesday, February 25, the first case of coronavirus infection has been registered in Romania, according to Reuters. It is reported that the infected individual returned to Romania three weeks ago from Italy.
The patient is currently in quarantine at one of the infectious disease hospitals in Bucharest. Approximately 1.3 million Romanians live and work in Italy.
On the same day, cases of the coronavirus were also confirmed for the first time in Austria and Croatia, with all infections tracing back to Italy.
