Who Will Provide Personal Guarantees for Robert Kocharyan? Details Revealed

Former Prime Ministers of the Republic of Armenia Vazgen Manukyan, Khosrov Harutyunyan, Karen Karapetyan, along with former Prime Minister of the Republic of Artsakh Anushavan Danielyan are preparing to present a proposal to the court to replace Robert Kocharyan's detention with their personal guarantees. This has been reported by Kocharyan's legal team.

Currently, Robert Kocharyan's legal team is preparing the necessary documents to submit the corresponding motion during one of the upcoming court sessions.

It is noteworthy that in May 2018, Judge David Grigoryan released Robert Kocharyan from custody on the personal guarantees of former and current presidents of Artsakh, Bako Sahakyan and Arkadi Ghukasyan. However, on June 25, Court of Appeal Judge Armen Danielyan annulled that decision and returned R. Kocharyan to detention.
