43 Coronavirus Cases Registered in Iran, 8 Fatalities
The total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Iran has reached 43, with 8 resulting in death, reported Kianoush Jahanpour, the official representative of the Iranian Ministry of Health.
“Fifteen new cases of coronavirus infection have been detected. Unfortunately, three of these fifteen have died,” he said during a broadcast on IRINN television.
According to him, out of the recorded 43 cases, 8 have ended in death.
It is noteworthy that the first cases of coronavirus infection were reported in Iran on February 19, following the outbreak that began in China.
