The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of 23:00 on February 22, there are closed and difficult-to-navigate roads in the territory of Armenia.
The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and K'ari Lake in the Aragatsotn province remain closed for an indefinite period. The Vardenyats Pass is closed for heavy vehicles, while it is difficult to navigate for other modes of transport. The Sotk-Karvachar road is difficult to navigate for heavy vehicles. In the Aparan region of Aragatsotn province, it is snowing.
Regarding Lars, according to the information received from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for passenger vehicles, but it is closed for heavy vehicles. According to the information obtained from the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Federation in North Ossetia, there are currently 656 heavy vehicles piled up on the Russian side.
