Armenian Foreign Ministry Urges Citizens to Avoid Traveling to Iran
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia has advised citizens to refrain from traveling to Iran unless absolutely necessary. It has also urged Armenian nationals currently in Iran to get in touch with the Armenian Embassy in Iran for assistance. This statement was issued amid global concerns regarding outbreaks of a new strain of coronavirus.
Armenia is closely monitoring the situation and evaluating the spread of the virus worldwide. The country is cooperating with its partners in Iran and Georgia in this regard, focusing on information exchange, necessary measures, and the consideration of possible scenarios.
