Renovation and Upgrade of Yeghvard's Nairi Medical Center Maternity Ward Begins
The Governor of Kotayk Province, Romanos Petrosyan, has announced on his Facebook page that the renovation and upgrading process of the maternity ward at Yeghvard's Nairi Medical Center has commenced.
“I was recently at the Nairi medical center in Yeghvard, where I had a working meeting and tour with the acting director. I would like to inform you that construction work in the maternity ward will start in early March, and the process of preparing the design and budgeting documents is currently underway. As a result, the maternity ward will be completely renovated, including a separate entrance for the ward, the women's consultation area, and the maternity inpatient units. After this, the ward will be equipped with brand new furniture and state-of-the-art medical equipment,” Romanos Petrosyan wrote.
He also reminded that a decision was made to create a working group to initiate the upgrade and renovation of the maternity ward at Yeghvard's Nairi Medical Center. Additionally, it was noted that the issues at this medical center were intended to be resolved through sustainable development pathways, but the current situation necessitated the use of crisis management tools to address the matter promptly.
