Two Earthquakes with Magnitudes of 5.4 and 4.7 Occur in Taiwan
On February 15, two earthquakes occurred off the eastern coast of Taiwan within a span of 5 minutes, with magnitudes of 5.4 and 4.7, respectively. This information was reported by the Chinese seismic center.
The first tremor, measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale, was registered at 19:00 local time in the Hualien area, while the second one, with a magnitude of 4.7, followed 5 minutes later in the same region.
Both earthquakes were recorded at a depth of 10 kilometers. There are currently no reports of casualties or damages.
