TCPPH Discusses Decrease in Egg Prices

In recent days, the price of eggs in the local market has significantly decreased. Today, eggs can be purchased for as low as 35 drams. "There has been a lot of noise in society regarding the egg market. There is a huge price drop, but I want to clarify that there is no official data indicating that eggs have been imported into Armenia. This is an issue of overproduction or the policies of large producers, which we are currently investigating," said Gagik Gevorgyan, president of the TCPPH.

“If there was anti-competitive behavior by large producers, we will hold them accountable, but I repeat, the information regarding imports does not correspond to reality,” the official noted.
