Prime Minister Approves Composition of Constitutional Reform Expert Committee
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has signed a decision to establish a Constitutional Reform Expert Committee, which includes the individual composition and working procedures of the committee. The relevant document has been published on the official government website.
It is noted that the Constitutional Reform Expert Committee includes: Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan, Armenia’s Representative to the ECHR Yeghishe Kirakosyan, Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Legal Affairs Vladimir Vardanyan, MP from the ‘My Step’ faction Vahagn Hovakimyan, MP from the ‘Prosperous Armenia’ faction Gevorg Petrosyan, MP from the ‘Bright Armenia’ faction Taron Simonyan, member of the Judicial Council Vigen Kocharyan, legal scholars Anahit Manasyan, Arthur Ghambaryan, Armen Mazmanyan, Arsen Tavadyan, Levon Gevorgyan, Tigran Markosyan, and representatives of civil society organizations Daniel Ioannisyan from the ‘Informed Citizens’ Union and Karen Zadoyan from the ‘Armenian Lawyers’ Association.
