Chinese Foreign Minister to Address Coronavirus Fight at Munich Security Conference
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Germany from February 13 to 15 to participate in the 56th Munich Security Conference. His main focus during the keynote speech will be on combating the coronavirus. This was announced by the official representative of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, Gen Shuang, during an online briefing on February 12, as reported by RIA Novosti.
The representative emphasized that Wang Yi will deliver a speech in response to the significant attention displayed by the international community. “He will announce the efforts and results of the Chinese government and people in the fight against the spread of the new type of coronavirus,” Gen Shuang added.
The Munich Security Conference will take place in Bavaria from February 14 to 16.
