Closed and Difficult Roads in Armenia
The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that as of 08:00 on February 11, there are closed and difficult roads in the territory of Armenia.
Closed Roads: The roads leading to Amberd Fortress and Kari Lake in the Aragatsotn region, as well as the Martiros-Sers road in Vayots Dzor and the Abovyan-Jraber road in Kotayk are closed.
The Vardenyats Pass and the Saravan-'Zanger' section are closed for trucks with trailers, while other vehicles can pass with difficulty. The Djiyani bends, the Jermuk-Gndevaz road, the Sotk-Karvachar road, and the intercommunity roads of Aparan and Aragats in the Aragatsotn region are also difficult to traverse.
There are areas of black ice on the roads in the Kotayk, Gegharkunik, Lori, Syunik, Shirak regions, and on the Vayk-Saravan road in Vayots Dzor.
