Classes Suspended at Gyumri's School No. 9 Due to 33-Degree Cold
Today, classes at Gyumri's School No. 9 have been impossible to continue due to a temperature of 33 degrees below zero. According to a SHANTNEWS.am correspondent, the school has not been adequately heated for four days due to a boiler malfunction.
During the previous three days, classrooms have had to rely on electric heating, but it has been impossible to achieve the normal temperature in the large classrooms of the three-story building. The mercury in the thermometer has not risen above 13 degrees, which is 5 degrees below the prescribed norm.
Reducing the duration of classes by 15 minutes has also proven to be an ineffective solution.
