The Armenian Embassy in Georgia has announced that as of February 11 at 00:00, the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi highway remains open only for passenger vehicles. Snow removal operations continue on the road.
Experts believe there is a high probability that the highway will be passable for cargo vehicles by tomorrow.
Embassy diplomats visited the section of the highway known as Great Lilo today, where numerous trucks have accumulated, and met with Armenian drivers.
Tomorrow morning, the embassy will provide them with food and other essential supplies.
