Healthcare Sector Turnover Increased by 25.5%
The overall turnover of the healthcare sector in Armenia increased by 25.5% or 38.73 billion AMD from 2017 to 2019. This was reported by the Minister of Health of Armenia, Arsen Torosyan, on his Facebook page.
“Summarizing the sectoral economic indicators for the years 2017-2019, we note that the total turnover of the healthcare sector during this period increased by 25.5% or 38.73 billion AMD. The number of employees in the healthcare sector has risen by 3.4% or 1,377 people. The average salary of healthcare workers increased by 29.5% or 46,500 AMD,” the minister noted.
