Survivor of Crashed Plane at Istanbul Airport Describes Incident

A survivor from the Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737 that crashed at Istanbul Airport has narrated the details of the incident. Alper Kulun recounted, “Our landing speed was higher than usual. After landing, an announcement was made: you can turn on your mobile phones. Welcome to Istanbul. The plane spun several times to the left and right. Then it flew and fell somewhere about 40 meters, as if it had fallen off a hill and broke into three pieces,” the survivor recounted.

Kulun was among the first to exit the crashed aircraft. Rescue teams were the first to arrive at the scene. According to the eyewitness, the rescuers urgently evacuated the passengers from the plane due to the risk of explosion from fuel leakage.
