House Speaker Nancy Pelosi disgraced the speech of US President Donald Trump in Congress by dramatically tearing up the text of his speech. This opinion was expressed by US Vice President Mike Pence in an interview with Fox News on Wednesday.

“One should always maintain decorum and show respect. But the fact that Pelosi stood up and tore the speech text is a disgrace to the entire ceremony. I think it was humiliating for the joint session of Congress and will remain in memory as such,” Pence said.

It is worth recalling that at the beginning of his speech, Donald Trump refused to shake hands with Nancy Pelosi, to which Pelosi responded by tearing Trump’s speech text at the end of her remarks.
