Passengers Affected on Ryanair Milan-Yerevan Flight

Nearly fifty passengers, including young children and pregnant women, were affected by the Ryanair flight from Milan to Yerevan today. This information was provided to a Sputnik Armenia correspondent by Gurgen Ghazaryan, co-founder of Passenger.am.

According to him, the issue stemmed from the airline's disorganized operations. Today, several dozen passengers were denied boarding during the registration process for the Ryanair Milan-Yerevan flight FR4456, leaving nearly 50 travelers stranded in Milan.

“At the same time, the registration desks for flights to Amman and Yerevan, numbers 24 and 25, were open. Since there were no informational signs, passengers were standing in a chaotic and mixed manner,” Ghazaryan explained the situation. A representative from their company was also among the passengers.

Check-in started 2 hours prior to the flight and was managed by just one employee. Given that passengers bound for Amman and Yerevan got mixed up, which took additional time, and considering the large number of travelers (according to available data, nearly all tickets were sold out), some passengers were unable to board the airplane.

Ghazaryan urges all affected passengers to contact their company. He notes that their legal team is already investigating the situation and will do everything possible to ensure the airline compensates for the damage caused to passengers due to its shortcomings. It is worth noting that, according to reports, 99% of those traveling from Milan to Yerevan were Armenian citizens.
