Sipan Pashinyan Responds to Rumors about His Uncle's Daughter Being a Millionaire
The son of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, MP Sipan Pashinyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Dear compatriots, the influence of the former authorities' money is so great for some media outlets that some are in a so-called ‘overdose.’ They are vigorously spreading rumors that my uncle's daughter is a millionaire.
To be honest, for a moment I was upset that no one told me I have a sister in Russia. Not to mention that before I was elected as a deputy, I would have liked to help her with her business. While I was feeling upset, I was already considering buying a fan, a comb, and hair spray to gift my millionaire sister's hair salon. Then I suddenly asked myself, do I have a sister and don’t know it?
For a moment, I was again upset that my uncle kept this a secret and violated my right to know about my sister in Russia. In short, while mixed thoughts were swirling in my head, I suddenly realized that I haven’t woken up yet and need to wash my face with cold water.
So, here are the facts: 1. My uncle does not have a daughter. 2. No matter how unimaginable it may seem to some, he is renting a place in Yerevan. 3. He does not have and is not engaged in any business. 4. In Armenia, he owns only a ‘Toyota’ car, which was bought from the USA in an accident condition.”
