Pashinyan and the Police Must Provide Justifiable Reasons, Edmon Marukyan
Edmon Marukyan, the leader of the LHK party, wrote on his Facebook page: Today, the police detained five citizens. We have repeatedly stated that the protection of human rights is a priority for us, regardless of which political camp the citizens belong to—"revolutionary" or "anti-revolutionary."
From this, it follows that Prime Minister Pashinyan and the Police of Armenia must present justifiable reasons regarding the detention of citizens; otherwise, there are grounds to assume that the political leadership is persecuting its opponents or artificially creating the illusion of persecution.
