Fatal Hit-and-Run Accident Occurs in Yerevan

Today, January 22, a fatal hit-and-run accident occurred in Yerevan. Around 08:15, Garik Vardanyan, a 28-year-old resident of Yerevan, struck a male pedestrian with his Nissan Teana vehicle bearing the license plate number 50 RR 066 on Bagratuniats Street, near the Factory Metro Bridge.

According to shamshyan.com, the driver did not flee the scene. He called for the Yerevan emergency services at 1-03 and assisted in transporting the victim to the hospital, who tragically passed away on the way, failing to regain consciousness.
