Son Frequently Assaulted Mother While Intoxicated in Armavir

The investigation into a criminal case regarding a son intentionally causing physical harm or severe emotional distress to his mother has been completed at the Armavir regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee.

The Investigative Committee announces that charges have been brought against the son. According to data obtained during the investigation, the man, born in 1945, frequently assaulted his mother while under the influence of alcohol, while living together in their apartment in Armavir city, causing her severe pain and bodily injuries.

Based on the evidence gathered, the man has been charged under the first part of Article 119 of the RA Criminal Code. As a measure of restraint, he has been subjected to a signature not to leave. The completion of the investigation has been announced, and the criminal case has been sent to court with an accusatory conclusion.
