Kotayk regional governor Romanos Petrosyan has announced on his Facebook page that he is preparing to meet with the staff of the Yeghvard maternity hospital and protesters opposing its closure.

He wrote: “I will be at the Yeghvard ‘Nairi’ Medical Center today at 15:00 to meet with the medical staff and concerned citizens to discuss ways to effectively resolve the issue. I will also present the details and outcomes of my meeting with the Minister of Health. Media representatives are also welcome to attend and cover the event.”
