We Shared a Few Jokes: Ararat Mirzoyan on Conversation with Hrayr Tovmasyan

We shared a few jokes with Hrayr Tovmasyan, and that’s about it. This was stated today by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Ararat Mirzoyan, during a conversation with journalists, responding to remarks about their meeting on Christmas Day, and whether Tovmasyan had voiced any concerns.

“It’s not like we wake up and go to sleep thinking only about this issue, and that our primary goal is to remove Hrayr Tovmasyan from the position of President of the Constitutional Court,” said Mirzoyan.

When asked whether authorities are gathering personal information about Constitutional Court judges, even regarding extramarital affairs, to use if necessary, Mirzoyan replied, “Dear people, you have come to ask me questions about absurd things. I don’t have the time to comment on any made-up theories.”
