A Doctor Attacked with a Metal Rod in Yerevan While Responding to a Call

Materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Arabkir division of the police regarding the obstruction of a doctor’s professional activity on January 12 in Yerevan, reports Shamshyan.com.

At around 19:40, a call was received at the Arabkir police department from the 'Saint Gregory the Illuminator' medical center, stating that ambulance doctors from the 'Center' station had responded to a call at an apartment on Sundukyan Street, where violence had been applied against the doctor.

Police have determined that on the same day, at 18:00, the doctor who arrived at the specified location, 58-year-old Karen A., was struck on the head with a metal rod by 34-year-old Hayk K., a resident of the same apartment, causing injury.
