Armed Attack in Syria: Turkish Army Suffers Losses

The Turkish military has suffered losses during the "Peace Spring" military operation in northeastern Syria. Reports on the military actions are regularly shared on the official Twitter page of the Turkish Ministry of Defense, according to Ermenihaber.

According to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, an armed attack occurred on January 8 against Turkish soldiers conducting patrol duties. A truck loaded with explosives was detonated, resulting in the deaths of 4 Turkish soldiers.

It should be recalled that the military operation against the Kurds began on October 9, 2019. The Turkish incursion into Syria took place at a time when American military units had vacated the eastern part of the Euphrates River.
