VIDEO: Cases of Theft of Expensive Beverages Uncovered

The police department of Ashtarak received reports that a 28-year-old resident of Popov Street in Yerevan was stealing from shops in Ashtarak. After verifying the information, criminal investigators apprehended the suspect near Yerevan Street on January 6 at around 14:00.

Subsequent actions revealed that on January 2, he had stolen expensive beverages from four grocery stores located on Proshyan and Tigran Mets Streets in Ashtarak, and on January 5 from Nerses Ashtaraketsi Street.

The apprehended individual provided a confession. Reports have been accepted from the victims. The circumstances are under investigation. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
