Police Officers Have Received Bonuses
The head of the Public Relations and Media Department of the Police of Armenia, Ashot Aharonyan, wrote on his Facebook page: "Numbers against misinformation: In recent days, some users have claimed that police officers did not receive their 13th salary. Police officers, so to speak, do not receive a 13th salary; they receive end-of-year bonuses, the amount of which is determined by the relevant fund's resources.
Let me present the amounts of annual bonuses allocated to police officers in recent years:
- 2016: 2 billion 774.9 million AMD
- 2017: 2 billion 558 million AMD
- 2018: 4 billion 276.7 million AMD
- 2019: 7 billion 054.2 million AMD (65% more than the previous year)
Congratulations to everyone on the occasion of the New Year and Christmas holidays!"
